    All of our products are made for a specific end use and are designed with biomechanics in mind. Consumers can expect superior performance and comfort from our shoes for their outdoor activities or every day wear.

    We select the best materials available, and we manufacture at the top factories in the world. We will never compromise on the quality of our shoes. We design and build for the discerning consumer who recognizes and appreciates fine craftsmanship that can only be found in high quality footwear.

  • The Leadership Team

    The NEF management team has a combined 130+ years of footwear industry experience, spanning both the classic casual and athletic segments at Timberland, Nike, Reebok, Stride Rite, among others. They have managed major global footwear brands and bring the manufacturing, sales and marketing and industry experience necessary to successfully build NEF into a competitive industry leader.

  • Doug Clark, CEO

    Doug Clark, CEO Doug Clark, CEO, is the former Chief Innovation Officer at The Timberland Company, and leader of its award winning Invention Factory where he honed a process and approach to innovation that is efficient, timely and commercially powerful. Clark has a consistent track record as a successful leader of business and product teams at Timberland between 1996 and 2002 and through key product leadership roles at Nike and Reebok from 1980 - 1994. In 2008, he acquired the GoLite Footwear license from Timberland and established New England Footwear, a company leveraging innovation to meet emerging consumer needs.
  • Tom Montgomery, COO

    Tom Montgomery, COO Tom oversees the operations end of our company, including sourcing, distribution and IT. He was previously the SVP and General Manager of Sourcing for Stride Rite where he managed the procurement of more than $400 million in finished goods at this $750 million multi-brand company. Tom has spent his early career leading the Supply Chain, sourcing and production teams at Kenneth Cole, Timberland, and Adidas, as well as spending time at Nike, Converse and Reebok.
  • Scott Briggs, President

    Scott Briggs, President Scott rounds out the core leadership team as a person who is universally respected and trusted by leading retailers throughout the United States. Scott spent more than 20 years leading North American Sales at Timberland and Rockport, and most recently served as COO of Geox, USA. Scott leads the Sales and Marketing functions of NEF.
